Now on my 4th year working with Sean. Training with my learners before was very difficult to encourage. Learners now look forward to each module. A pleasure and an excellent trainer. Always the same trainer and contact each time I schedule or I call which makes a huge difference Finding work is my goal for my lads and supporting Sean as a BTWEA is 100% what I believe in as a supervisor. I had a small group of participants who were not willing to train. After sitting down and discussing each learners feedback when the course was over I can confirm Sean was excellent. Literacy and learner anxiousness concerns were high. Sean engaged, encouraged and welcomed everyone regardless of experience, knowledge or previous qualifications. We have used Sean Burke as a tutor for a variety of courses, including Horticultural Tools and Equipment, Chainsaw Operations, Handheld Pesticide Application and Landscaping. I have always found Sean to be very obliging, accommodating to our needs, professional and understanding, building a rapport with all participants easily. His understanding of participants’ needs, apprehensions and challenges enables them to gain confidence and complete training courses when they may not have believed they had the ability to do so. Sean has a wonderful way of delivering training, making it interesting, relevant and fun. He is ready to answer all questions and explain things as many times as necessary, and always ensures everyone is included and treated fairly and equally. As a Supervisor, I always find Sean to be very approachable and easy to deal with, always answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner. I recommend Sean Burke very highly indeed and find him a pleasure to work with.

We had Sean Burke run some training courses for us, we are in the process of obtaining a level 4 major award in Horticulture for 17 of our CE participants, Sean has been more than helpful to each of the participants individual needs, he has been able to connect with all the participants in helping them achieve each minor module. He has also been very courteous to all member of staff and is a pleasure to work with.

I engaged Sean to delivered QQI Level 5 Hand Held Pesticide Application training to a group of Community Employment workers. Sean was a pleasure to deal with. My reluctant group of learners has asked to have Sean do more training. I’m due to roll over and in discussion to schedule another module because of this. In the past training was difficult getting the lads to attend while working with different trainers. It’s great to have the same trainer all the time.
